You will find all the answers to your questions related to sea cargo shipping in this article. Choosing a transport company for sea delivery

The main criteria for selecting a sea carrier are as follows:

•    Work experience — it is optimal to trust the fate of your cargo to a contractor who has been operating for at least two years.
•    Reputation — familiarize yourself with reviews to find out if there are any complaints from cargo owners.
•    List of services for sea transport — the wider it is, the better.
•    Cost of services — do not make a decision solely based on the desire to save as much as possible. Always remember the price-quality ratio.
•    Transparency of operations — the more information the company is willing to provide, the less it has to hide.
Compare the conditions of several transport organizers at once to make the right choice and not make a mistake. Keep the contacts of sea carriers with whom you have successfully collaborated. They will be useful to you in the future.

How to choose the most advantageous offer for organizing sea shipping and avoid falling for scammers

To ensure that the delivery of goods by sea vessels goes smoothly, it is important to choose the carrier correctly, avoiding unscrupulous contractors. The most common fraudulent schemes are:
•    One-day firms — the scam involves registering a new company, from which orders are taken. As a result, the contractor disappears along with the goods. You can recognize the catch by the price being lower than the market average and by the lack of information/reviews about the company online.
•    Double payment — the carrier rushes the cargo owner to pay for the service before it is provided, instructing them to transfer money to their personal account. After that, they demand payment again, claiming that they were hacked and did not receive any funds. To avoid such fraud, never send money to a personal account.
•    Fake delivery — the scammer presents the customer with documents for a service that has not actually been performed. Inquire whether the cargo has arrived at the address before transferring payment.

Use the opportunities of the COM-STIL.COM transport exchange to find carriers, logisticians, and freight forwarders.
