The delivery price will be shown in your selected currency. The formation of the price for sea cargo shipping is influenced by the following factors:
- cargo volume. When a certain cargo volume is reached, a carrier company can offer a discount to its client;
- distance. There may be a case where the price decreases per kilometre for long distances, but this can be individual and depend on the carrier company;
- size and weight. Delivery of oversized cargo that exceeds generally accepted standards costs more for the customer. In this case, the choice of vehicle is limited, and sea freight may be transported along a longer route;
- cargo belongs to the category of dangerous. In this case, the organization of sea cargo shipping becomes more complex, the choice of transport and route planning is carried out taking into account the cargo class;
- season and presence of risk during shipping. Carrier companies have a system of surcharges for sea shipping. The season is taken into account; there may be an additional charge to the freight for sea cargo shipping from China in winter; the route passes through a conflict zone.
The final cost consists of three components:
- freight;
- provision of additional services during delivery;
- cost of freight forwarder services.
